Jeffrey Tabak
Jeffrey Tabak is the principal of Tabak Is Tribeca, LLC. The company was started in 1984.
Jeff graduated from George Washington University in Washington D.C. as a Political Science major, and went on to graduate from Brooklyn Law School. He started the company in his Brooklyn apartment, and has been running the company from a Tribeca storefront since the Mid 1980’s.
In June of 1998, Tabak Real Estate moved to a storefront office on Reade Street, and has continued to be a presence in the Tribeca residential real estate market.
Besides being involved with the Downtown Brokers Association for many years, Jeff has also been quoted in The New York Times, and New York Magazine on many occasions, and more recently in The Washington Post, Bloomberg Financial News and The New York Daily News. In December 2013, The New York Times again featured Jeffrey Tabak and Tabak is Tribeca LLC in an article entitled “Undaunted by Giants”.
He was listed as one of Tribeca’s most recognized brokers in New York Magazine’s April 12, 1999 issue.
Jeffrey Tabak has been directly involved with over 450 Sales of coops and Condos in the Tribeca Area.
In 2006, Tabak Real Estate Launched its Commercial Division, which has been a huge success.
As of Jan 2015, The company has sold buildings and commercial units totaling over $30,000,000 in sales, and has rented over 30 Stores and Offices.

James Attard
James Attard is an Associate Broker working for Tabak Real Estate since early 2005. A current resident of Tribeca, James was born and raised in the Meatpacking District and also lived in the East Village. James has been featured in The Real Deal, HGTV as well as The New York Times “On the Market”, the New York Daily News “The Closer” and also quoted in the New York Post “Price Points”.
A Pace University Graduate, where he majored in Business Economics, James has used his knowledge of the market and attention to detail to assist those who are looking for primary residences to the investors.
James has been involved in building management for the last thirteen years.
After dealing with the complex issues of managing property, he felt he had a unique and great insight into the needs of the first time buyer or renter.
James brings his hard work ethic, professionalism and willingness to make an extra effort to the table.
Another Passion is Hockey. He has been playing both Roller and Ice hockey since early childhood at Chelsea Piers and Edison, NJ. In college at Pace University, James founded the school’s first Hockey Club and served as the Captain and Manager of the team.
